About the Role

As a Quotation Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing technically accurate and commercially competitive quotations. You will analyze customer applications, select suitable technical solutions, and ensure that every quotation meets the highest standards of quality, feasibility, and profitability.

Working closely with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders, you will act as a key link throughout the entire quotation process.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing quotations for standard and configured products
• Analyzing technical specifications and identifying optimal solutions
• Engaging directly with customers to understand operating conditions, technical requirements, and project constraints
• Performing thermodynamic calculations and performance evaluations
• Developing preliminary layouts and technical sketches to support quotation clarity
• Ensuring quotations comply with technical standards, pricing guidelines, and commercial requirements
• Supporting the development and standardization of quotation tools, workflows, and product rules
• Monitoring quotation activities and conversion rates
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort in the quotation process

Who Are You?

We are looking for a technically skilled and commercially minded professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and able to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.

To succeed in this role, you are likely having:

• A degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience gained through your career
• At least three years of experience in application engineering, technical sales, quotation engineering, or a similar role
• A solid understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, or process-related engineering
• Experience interpreting technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements
• Knowledge of costing, pricing principles, and commercial decision-making
• Experience within heat exchangers, process industries, or engineered industrial systems is highly desirable
• Professional Swedish and English skills, both written and spoken
