Veyyon offers ALMM- and BIS-ready junction boxes with barcode traceability, multiple current ratings, IP68 sealing, UL94-V0 rated plastics, and designs optimized for bifacial, high-output panels. The company serves Tier-1 OEMs, module manufacturers, and EPCs that require reliable, compliant, and performance-tested components for long-term field use. Veyyon emphasizes rapid BOM onboarding, fast sample dispatch, and a partnership approach focused on quality and regulatory compliance.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Engineer — Engineering \& Automation role based at Veyyon’s manufacturing facility in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions for PV junction box production lines, including equipment selection, integration, and continuous improvement. The engineer will monitor and refine process control parameters, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, quality, and safety. Daily responsibilities include supporting electrical and automation systems, working with robotics or automated handling equipment, preparing documentation, and contributing to preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis activities. The role requires close coordination with production, quality, and R\&D teams to ensure stable operations and alignment with industry standards and certifications.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Automation for manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Process Control and Troubleshooting of production and test equipment.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Robotics or automated handling systems used in industrial settings.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of industrial safety practices, PLCs, sensors, and control systems relevant to automation.
- Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field) is highly beneficial.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, solar components, or similar high-volume production facilities is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and standards, and to document processes clearly and accurately.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with production and quality teams.
