Our client is seeking an experienced
Engineering Manager
to lead engineering operations within a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving engineering excellence, leading cross-functional teams, optimizing special manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards, and supporting strategic business growth.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing, Process, and Quality Engineers.
✔ Drive process improvements across Thermal Spray, Chemical Processing (Plating, Anodizing,
Passivation), and Advanced Coatings.
✔ Ensure compliance with
AS9100, ISO 9001, and Nadcap
standards.
✔ Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and
productivity.
✔ Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, and production readiness.
✔ Partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Customers, and Suppliers to deliver
engineering excellence.
✔ Lead CAPEX projects involving new equipment, automation, and process improvements.
Qualifications
✅ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
✅ 10\+ years of engineering experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing
environments.
✅ 3\+ years of engineering leadership or management experience.
✅ Strong expertise in Thermal Spray, Chemical Processing, or Aerospace Coating technologies.
✅ Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, and Nadcap audits.
⭐ Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
