Job Description:
Our client is seeking its first Engineering Manager to build, develop, and lead the engineering organization. This leader will oversee Engineering personnel, establish engineering processes, partner closely with Manufacturing Leadership, and create scalable systems that support our client’s future product development strategy.
This is both a leadership and hands-on engineering role requiring someone who enjoys mentoring others while remaining technically engaged.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Engineering Department and set direction for team performance and outcomes.
- Supervise engineering staff, including the Project Engineer and Sustaining Engineer.
- Establish engineering processes that improve consistency, quality, and scalability.
- Develop engineering documentation to support clarity, compliance, and repeatability.
- Standardize engineering workflows across projects and product lines.
- Partner with Manufacturing Leadership to align engineering output with production needs.
Compensation \& Benefits:
- Base \=$145k – $160k
- Variable Compensation \= company-wide incentive plan (10%)
- Year One On-Target Earnings: \~$160k - $175k
