Job Description

Job Title: Entry-Level Medical CAD Designer

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Medical CAD Designer to support the development of patient-specific medical solutions. This is a growth-focused role designed for individuals early in their careers who are looking to build technical expertise and advance into more senior design responsibilities over time.

The role involves the digital creation of custom medical products such as surgical guides, implants, splints, and anatomical models. The designer will collaborate closely with internal teams and medical professionals, including surgeons, to ensure each case meets precise technical and clinical requirements. A strong understanding of anatomy and medical procedures is important, along with the ability to translate clinical input into accurate 3D CAD models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge of the full product range and its clinical applications
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and define technical requirements for each patient case
  • Design patient-specific medical products in accordance with technical, regulatory, and internal guidelines
  • Ensure all designs meet quality, safety, and manufacturing standards
  • Clearly communicate design intent and technical features through 3D modeling and documentation
  • Support testing activities to evaluate product performance, reliability, and usability
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and complete documentation for each patient case file
  • Continuously build technical competence with the goal of advancing into a higher-level design role

Note: Responsibilities may evolve as experience and proficiency increase.

Education \& Experience Requirements

  • Associate degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Bioengineering, Biomedical) or related technical/medical field, or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience with 3D modeling or CAD software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
