Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Professional / Geologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assessing environmental impacts, analyzing soil and water quality, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. This position involves a mix of fieldwork and office-based report writing, making it essential for candidates to have strong project management skills and technical expertise in geology.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct soil and water quality analyses to assess environmental conditions.
• Prepare detailed reports on findings, including recommendations for remediation and compliance with regulations.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Perform field sampling and site assessments to gather data on environmental conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement environmental management plans.
• Stay updated on environmental regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Utilize GIS and data analysis tools to interpret environmental data and create comprehensive reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related role.
• Strong understanding of soil analysis and environmental impact assessments.
• Proficient in report writing and project management techniques.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and hazardous waste management is preferred.
• Experience with field sampling and data analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with GIS and remediation techniques will be advantageous.
