Quality Assurance Manager

The Company

This role has been created to strengthen site quality leadership and drive a culture of food safety and continuous improvement.

The Role

Reporting into the Regional Quality Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the site Quality Management System to meet national standards and policies
• Driving a positive food safety and quality culture across the site
• Coaching and developing site teams to meet quality, compliance, and business objectives
• Leading HACCP, GFSI, and customer QMS programs, including audits and certification support
• Managing investigations, corrective actions, and risk assessments for food safety incidents
• Ensuring compliance with relevant food safety regulations and internal quality standards
• Collaborating with operational teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintaining accurate reporting, documentation, and quality records
• Supporting regional teams and providing backup for other sites as required

Your Background

• Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or equivalent
• Proven experience in food manufacturing quality and assurance roles
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GFSI standards, and regulatory compliance
• Experience conducting audits and managing corrective action closeouts
• Ability to lead and influence site teams to build a safety-first, quality-driven culture
• Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Competent in MS Office and quality reporting systems
• Experience with continuous improvement and GMP practices
