As an
Academic Advising, Transfer, and Enrollment Coordinator
, you will:
- Lead the College’s undergraduate academic advising efforts
- Provide leadership in training and development of CASNR Advising trainings and workshops for faculty/advisors and program enhancement projects
- Lead all CASNR transfer management processes and coordinate with academic programs and UNL units to ensure smooth transitions for students transferring into CASNR
- Serve as college expert and information resources in managing student and credit transfer information and processes, College advising, New Student Enrollment experiences, and university advising systems and processes
- Coordinate with other institutions to develop new articulation pathways and course equivalencies, and lead oversight of existing pathways/agreements
- Represent CASNR on the UNL Advising Coordinating Board

Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, student affairs, counseling, the agricultural sciences, natural resources or a related field plus two (2) years’ experience required to include: work in student development, advising, or recruitment. Additional relevant education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Demonstrated experience advising diverse student backgrounds in order to apply inclusive advising strategies for all students.
- Ability to learn and stay current of complex academic requirements, policies and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills, organization/time management skills and computer skills.
- Ability to work as an effective team member.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:
- Master’s degree in education, student affairs, counseling, the agricultural sciences, natural resources or a related field.
- Experience with 1:1 student interaction/advising.
- Word processing, databases and/or presentation skills.
- Demonstrated advising experience using student information systems and technology platforms
Posted Salary
$60,000/year minimum
