Job Description

GCyber is seeking a

Scrum Master

to help Agile teams deliver data, workflow-automation, system-integration, dashboard, application, and shared-platform capabilities for a federal customer. You will create the structure, visibility, and team discipline needed to turn mission priorities into demonstrable, production-ready outcomes.

This role is appropriate for a hands-on Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, Agile Team Facilitator, Iteration Manager, Release Coordinator, or technical project lead who can apply Agile practices pragmatically in a structured government delivery environment.

As The Scrum Master, You Will

  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile delivery activities.
  • Partner with Product Owners, project managers, technical leads, and stakeholders to maintain actionable backlogs, measurable sprint goals, and clear definitions of ready and done.
  • Identify and help resolve impediments, risks, issues, and dependencies within the team and across related technical workstreams.
  • Coordinate milestones, release activities, demonstrations, testing dependencies, and customer decision points without taking ownership away from the delivery team.
  • Use delivery metrics and team feedback to improve predictability, flow, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Help the team navigate documentation, change management, cybersecurity, testing, release, and government approval requirements.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Current DoD 8140/8570-compliant baseline certification appropriate to the assigned position, such as Security\+, CySA\+, GSEC, SSCP, or another approved credential.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Three or more years of experience supporting Agile delivery teams as a Scrum Master, Agile facilitator, delivery lead, project coordinator, or similar role; equivalent education, training, certifications, and experience will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile delivery practices, backlog management, release planning, dependency management, and team-level metrics.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, organization, conflict-resolution, and servant-leadership skills, with the judgment to adapt practices to team and customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting federal or DoD technology programs and coordinating multiple interdependent Agile teams.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or comparable Agile delivery tools.
  • Experience supporting software, data, integration, platform, or cybersecurity delivery teams.
  • Certified ScrumMaser, Professional Scrum Master, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or a comparable Agile certification
