The Opportunity

This role begins as a contract engagement with a clear path to full-time for the right person. We use the contract period to establish working rhythm, evaluate output quality, and confirm mutual fit. Strong performance moves the engagement into a permanent role with expanded ownership.

You will take development ownership across projects that matter, partner directly with our design team, and help set the standard for how Icovy approaches web experiences. Most developers can build websites. Very few can build websites that feel intentional, perform at a high level, and hold up against the top-tier brands our clients compete with. That is the standard here.

What You Will Build

You will lead development across:

• Webflow and WordPress
• Shopify and WooCommerce
• High-end marketing sites, e-commerce experiences, and enterprise-level builds

Your work will include structuring scalable CMS systems, building for localization and multi-region experiences, implementing gated content and advanced logic, developing performance-driven and SEO-aware architecture, bringing motion and interaction to life, and partnering closely with our design team to refine UI and UX throughout the build process.

This is not a handoff-based role. You will be expected to contribute to how sites should be structured, built, and experienced, not simply execute static deliverables.

What We Are Looking For

• Extremely proficient in Webflow and WordPress
• Strong experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, or both
• Track record on complex or large-scale builds
• High-level understanding of layout, spacing, typography, and motion
• Ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality or structure
• Naturally curious and consistently pushing the work forward

Non-Negotiables

• A strong portfolio of real, shipped work
• Experience building across multiple platforms and environments
• Ability to clearly explain your work, decisions, and approach

We do not evaluate based on years of experience. We evaluate based on output, capability, and the quality of your work.
