Role Description

The English Teacher will deliver engaging, learner centered English language classes aligned with academy standards and exam requirements (such as IELTS, OET, and PTE). Day to day responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, preparing instructional materials, assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role requires collaborating with academic coordinators, participating in curriculum development, and supporting learners with exam strategies and language skill improvement. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Pathanamthitta district, requiring regular classroom presence and active participation in academy activities.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in English Teaching and Teaching, with a solid understanding of learner-centered instructional methods.
• Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Education, including designing structured lesson plans and aligning content with curriculum and exam objectives.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to explain concepts to diverse learners.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; a teaching certification or TESOL/TEFL qualification is an advantage.
• Experience preparing learners for English proficiency or international exams (e.g., IELTS, OET, PTE) is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage classrooms effectively, use digital teaching tools, and adapt teaching strategies to different proficiency levels.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability in maintaining schedules and records, and a learner focused, inclusive approach to teaching.
