HR Generalist I

Duration:  3 to  6 Months of contract

Summary:

• The team created a requisition for an HR Generalist position in Austin, Texas, with a 90-day contract duration starting March 2nd.
• The role will support call center coverage and general HR services during staff absences and recent departures.
• Key requirements include flexibility to work between 8am-6pm, on-site presence 5 days per week, and experience with Salesforce and Workday systems.

Job Requirement:

• Administers human resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas.
• Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management.
• Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures.
• May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
• May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
• Typically reports to a manager.

Must Have Skills:

• Communication skills
• Independent thinking, quick thinking
• Background in Salesforce or workday would be helpful. Phone skills

Experience required:

• We are open, but 1 year or more. We’ve had students and more senior people.
