Position Title - Manger - Logistics Procurement

Lead inbound and outbound logistics, data analyses, optimizing freight costs etc. and ensuring all logistics requirements are met while driving operational and financial excellence with ensuring operations comply (internal regulatory laws, compliances, SOP etc.).

Logistics Capability Development:

Customer Service Level:

-CSL Indexing (Customer Service /Permit Service Lead Time)

• Transporters’ performance evaluation (on time placement)

• Data analytic, market intelligence to understand the challenges

Freight:

-Pan India inbound \& outbound freight negotiation of 500 Cr annual spend for Market trucks through online Auction/ Offline.

-Conducting freight market visits \& bench marking freight rates.

-Capturing the freight rates from various freight brokers in different markets \& tabulate the data on periodic basis.

-Capturing seasonality of freight market \& establish a strategy to negotiation process.

Warehousing:

-Warehouse layout planning to optimize the space.

-Implementing best practices of warehouse operation.

-Training to warehouse team (Safety/Efficiency etc.)

• Stock monitoring

Logistics Operation:

-Improve productivity and efficiency to support incremental growth of the organization.

-Develop robust processes to manage skews while sustaining the systems and processes laid down

-Develop Depots/CFA operation, dispatch planning, transportation, Dedicated fleet management and system capability.

-Defining and standardization of daily routines and tracking compliance of daily dispatches across India.

-Identifying gaps in Skill/Capability in individuals in the function and provide appropriate training inputs for Improvement.

-Multimode transportation knowledge

Financials:

-Capable to handle annual freight budgeting \& long/short range planning.

-Capable to analysis the GAP against budget at MTD \& YTD level
