Operations Manager
We have partnered with a fast-growing luxury fashion and jewelry business based in Manhattan, working with major national retailers, private label customers, overseas factories, and a high-volume product catalog.
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-level operational leader to help bring structure, accountability, and process discipline to a fast-moving jewelry and private label business.
This is not a passive corporate operations role. The right person thrives in a founder-led environment, creates order from chaos, follows through relentlessly, and is comfortable owning systems, dashboards, timelines, inventory processes, ERP organization, logistics coordination, and cross-functional accountability.
This person will work directly with leadership to improve the way the business runs day to day. They will help connect sales, production, logistics, inventory, warehouse, and finance processes so the company can scale with more visibility, cleaner systems, and stronger execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own operational structure across production, inventory, logistics, sales support, and internal reporting.
- Improve ApparelMagic organization, data quality, workflows, and team usage.
- Build and maintain operational dashboards for purchase orders, production status, inventory, deadlines, and open issues.
- Create SOPs and process documentation for key workflows.
- Improve inventory, warehouse, receiving, and order tracking processes.
- Coordinate across sales, production, logistics, design, warehouse, and finance to ensure visibility and accountability.
- Identify bottlenecks, delays, and process breakdowns before they become emergencies.
- Establish clear operating rhythms, reporting cadences, and follow-up systems.
- Help define team ownership and ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Support leadership with operational planning, prioritization, and execution.
- Bring structure to a high-growth environment without slowing the business down.

Requirements
- 5\+ years of operations experience in fashion, jewelry, accessories, apparel, consumer products, or a similar high-SKU business.
- Strong understanding of production, inventory, logistics, and operational workflows.
- ERP experience strongly preferred, especially ApparelMagic or similar systems.
- Experience building dashboards, SOPs, trackers, or reporting systems.
- Strong project management, communication, and follow-through skills.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, founder-led company.
- NYC or Manhattan-based candidate preferred.
- ApparelMagic experience strongly preferred.
Compensation
$100,000 to $130,000 base compensation, plus bonus structure tied to operational performance and company growth.
This role has strong growth potential and direct visibility into executive leadership.
