Quantillion is looking for a motivated robotics engineer to work in our robotics team on our autonomous navigation solution. Together with a highly skilled development team, clients, and our partners you will build the new industry standard combining new technologies and in-depth market knowledge.

Job description
We are looking for a highly skilled ROS2 / C\+\+ specialist who is able to build autonomous navigation software for vehicles in challenging and mixed traffic environments. You will work on the full navigation stack, from perception to control and everything in between. You will test this on simulated and real life test vehicles before deploying it at the customer.

Your future responsibilities:
- Writing and reviewing c\+\+ software in the ROS2 framework for navigation and vehicle operations with its environment
- Working with high-tech hardware such as Lidar
- Deploying, testing and debugging software on prototype vehicles at customers
- Researching new AMR, robotics and mechatronic techniques
- Debugging and increasing quality of existing robotics stack
- Brainstorming with the team about the best methods to solve a problems
- Supporting management and the development team with your insights and ideas.

Skills and experience:
- 2 - 6 year of c\+\+ / ROS2 development experience
- Academic STEM graduate, or equivalent
- Practical experience in robotics / mechatronics
- Experience deploying robotics in production environments
You are someone who:
- writes qualitative, stable and maintainable code
- can work out clean software to solve real world problems
- takes responsibility and puts in the effort to bring your projects to a clean and complete end
- thinks the architecture through before writing code
You also:
- enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary team of both technical and non-technical people on solving complex problems
- are familiar with multicultural work environments, and comfortable with the quick start-up culture pace
- make sure that the best idea always wins and aren’t afraid to speak up if necessary
- are not afraid to try and fail
