Harmer is partnering

with a growing Chicago-based services organization on a Senior Financial Analyst search. This role reports to the VP of Finance and will support financial reporting, analysis, and core finance operations.

The position offers broad exposure across accounting and finance, with visibility into reporting, operational finance, and select administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly close, including account review, variance analysis, and reporting package preparation

• Maintain and enhance complex Excel-based financial models and analyses

• Assist with cash flow reconciliation, profitability analysis, and internal reporting

• Contribute to presentations

• Support year-end processes and external audit requirements

• Support payroll-related processes, distributions, and benefits workflows

• Provide backup support for accounts payable, expense processing, and vendor management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 4\+ years of experience in financial analysis or related roles

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, etc.)

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus

• Hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days per week in office, downtown Chicago)
