Job Description
Our client is a public body engaged in real estate development primarily in residential properties.
The Job
- Manage consultants and contractors on-site and coordinate with internal divisions to ensure timely project completion and compliance with quality standards.
- Implement site team management policies and procedures to ensure effective operations and maintain accurate site status and quality information.
- Ensure contractor performance meets quality standards through the implementation of Integrated Quality System, including continuous review of project quality assurance documentation and direct supervision or audit of tests and measurements.
- Monitor project progress to identify and address delays, discrepancies, conflicts, or other anomalies on a timely basis.
- Oversee the hand-over of completed projects to other divisions and follow up on complaints and defect rectification works.
The Person
- Degree qualified in Building, Engineering, Architecture, or other construction-related disciplines, preferably with relevant professional qualifications such as MCIOB, MHKICM, MHKIE, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 15 years' experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in managerial positions for construction projects.
- Proven experience in construction or project management with relevant exposure in residential projects, preferably having completed at least two projects from the initial stage to final handover to flat owners.
- Familiarity with Buildings Ordinance, allied legislation, and related Codes of Practice \& Guidelines in the construction industry.
