DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer to help build, operate, and evolve the cloud infrastructure behind our digital financial platform.

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, you will work hands-on with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, and Cilium, contributing to scalable, secure, and automated platform foundations. You will

collaborate with a tech team of around 15 people across Switzerland and Finland, supporting production systems and improving reliability, deployment workflows, and developer experience.

This role is ideal for a mid to senior engineer with strong cloud-native experience, a pragmatic engineering mindset, and the ability to take ownership of infrastructure topics from design to operation. Experience in a regulated environment such as FinTech or banking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure using Terraform, ensuring modular, reusable, and well-structured infrastructure-as-code.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, enabling fast, reliable, and automated deployments across environments.
• Develop and operate Kubernetes-based workloads, contributing to cluster configuration, deployment patterns, and scalability.
• Engineer reliable and secure platform components, including networking, IAM, and service integrations across cloud providers.
• Contribute to the evolution of infrastructure architecture, focusing on scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Implement automated validation, testing, and deployment strategies for infrastructure and applications.
• Participate in incident analysis and contribute to engineering solutions that improve system reliability and reduce failure points.
• Collaborate closely with backend and product engineers to ensure systems are production-ready by design.
• Continuously improve developer experience through tooling, automation, and streamlined workflows.
• Document infrastructure patterns, modules, and engineering standards to support team scalability.

Qualifications

• First professional experience or strong academic background in DevOps, cloud or software engineering
• Hands-on experience with

and IaC principles

• Familiarity with

and pipeline design

• Good understanding of

AWS and/or Azure

core services

• Comfortable in

Linux

and scripting (

Bash, Python

)

• Good communication skills in
