Electrical Engineer - High Voltage

A leading manufacturer is seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee all high-voltage testing operations in their High Voltage Lab and ensure compliance with ANSI, IEC, and related standards. This role leads a technical team, manages lab performance, and serves as a key point of contact for customer testing needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day high-voltage lab operations, safety, and quality.
• Lead and mentor a skilled technical team.
• Oversee and perform electrical testing per industry and customer requirements.
• Communicate test procedures and results to internal teams and customers.
• Maintain testing protocols, calibration, and QA processes.
• Prepare technical reports and support audits/inspections.
• Partner with Engineering/R\&D on testing and product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 5\+ years electrical testing and lab management experience.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI/IEC standards.
• Effective communicator with proven leadership ability.
• Experience with root cause analysis, QA, and inventory systems (SAP a plus).
