Plan, organize and execute strategic sourcing of –

• Imported \& Indigenous Mechanical MRO items
• Refractory from appropriate vendor database

Job Context

• Source the MRO at economical price in required quantity and time to add value to Organization profit and meet business requirement.
• Identify and

finalize the rate contracts

to facilitate faster processing of requirements with standard terms and price across organization

• Identify and

develop new product mix/vendor

to give sustainable competitive edge to organization in terms of cost and quality.

Functional competencies

Project Reporting \& Dashboards:

• Prepare, review, and release project status reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Track construction progress, milestones, critical issues, financials, and planning metrics.

Data Analysis \& Review:

• Analyse and validate project data from site teams, engineering, procurement, and cost management.
• Consolidate updates for management review and approval.

Presentation Development:

• Prepare project review presentations for Dy. MD, CMO, Business Heads, and Chairman.
• Present real-time data on RCC, erection, statutory approvals, safety, and S-curves.

Procurement Monitoring:

• Track monthly procurement status and capex commitments site-wise.
• Enable course correction and cost control through accurate reporting.

Primavera Contract Management (PCM):

• Maintain commercial order database.
• Enter, upload, and retrieve purchase order details.
• Assist in PCM module implementation, customization, and testing.

IT Application Development:

• Support development of browser-based tools for real-time project tracking.

Knowledge / Technical skills required

• Project Management Metrics: Construction progress, critical path, manpower statistics, safety data, and milestone tracking.
• Primavera Contract Management Software: Data entry, order tracking, document uploads, and module implementation.
• Procurement \& Cost Control: Order values, payment terms, delivery schedules, capex monitoring.
• Dashboard \& Reporting Standards: S-curves, RCC status, erection/fabrication tracking, compliance indicators.
• Software \& IT Tools: Proficiency in browser-based tools for real-time progress tracking.

Experience:

12 to 15 years

Qualification:

B.E/ B.Tech (Minimum) \& MBA in SCM (Preffered)
