As a Area Manager, you will be a highly valued, primary representative for Dexterra.  In this role, you will work with management team members and enabling support functions in supervising multiple account operations. The Area Manager has the primary mission of fostering client relationships As a Area Manager, you will also provide direction and expertise to the district by promoting Dexterra strategies and best practices aligned with our Vision and Values

Your work will include:

  • Understands that client retention is embedded as a daily process through thoughtful action and attitude, utilizing the Tenacity Client for Life methodology
  • Ensures a visible Account-level presence to foster and maintain effective working relationship with all Clients
  • Aligns key Dexterra contacts with like positions or titles within the client organization and create a relationship matrix (Web of Influence)
  • Ability to communicate performance expectations, monitor and reward performance to ensure plans, goals and budgets are met
  • Identifies new opportunities to market and sell new products and services within existing clients or to new clients.
  • Has a strategic selling mindset and utilizes the Miller Heiman sales methodology and process
  • Oversees management team to ensure strength of operations utilizing quality checks and other methods

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 3\+ years of proven experience in facility management, janitorial services, or related industries
  • Fully bilingual (English and Spanish) with the ability to communicate professionally in both languages
  • Extensive background in managing large-scale facilities or service operations
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach
  • Ability to inspire and lead diverse teams while fostering collaboration and accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and make data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in strategic planning, relationship management, and operational execution
  • Experience in designing and implementing long-term strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman and client retention frameworks like Tenacity Client for Life
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate challenges and implement solutions
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Commitment to maintaining workplace health and safety standards
