Job Description
A Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) position is available courtesy of Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences. This provides comprehensive primary care services, including the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team. The NP will practice within the scope of licensure and clinical expertise, ensuring adherence to established protocols and regulatory standards.

$143,089-$177,000 annually (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
- Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice and competency
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment plans, and health maintenance
- Refer patients to specialists and coordinate follow-up care as needed
- Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Respond to patient needs, including special requests and assistance programs
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and organizational meetings
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all regulatory and organizational policies
- Provide care across multiple sites as needed
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support patient access and care delivery
Qualifications:
Required
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (NP program)
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (or ability to obtain in California)
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Preferred
- Prior ambulatory or outpatient clinical experience
- Experience in a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills
