Job Description
The Global Vice President of Product \& Engineering leads the company’s worldwide Product Management, Engineering, and Product Development functions, driving an integrated hardware–software portfolio grounded in “Innovation with Purpose.” This role owns the full product lifecycle—from strategy and roadmap through development, commercialization, and end-of-life—ensuring alignment with customer needs, quality standards, and business objectives. The VP brings structure, speed, and discipline to product innovation while leading a high-performing, globally distributed team.

Roles \& Responsibilities
- Define and lead product strategy, roadmaps, and lifecycle management across an integrated hardware–software portfolio
- Drive cross-functional execution with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to deliver on growth and customer outcomes
- Oversee product design, development, manufacturability, and sustaining engineering to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
- Establish and optimize product development processes, including stage-gate and Agile methodologies
- Lead modern software development practices, including cloud, APIs, DevOps/CI-CD, and secure coding
- Own portfolio performance, including pricing, profitability, ROI, and overall product health
- Implement KPIs and dashboards to drive visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Champion quality, reliability, and testing standards across all products
- Apply Lean principles to improve engineering and manufacturing efficiency
- Build, lead, and develop a globally distributed team, fostering collaboration and high performance
- Represent the organization with customers, partners, and industry groups as a senior technology leader
Required Skills \& Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field required; advanced degree (MBA or MS) preferred.
- 10\+ years of progressive experience spanning Product Development, Engineering and Product Management, including shipment of integrated hardware-software products in manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated leadership with integrity, strategic thinking, financial acumen, problem solving, and performance management capabilities.
- Proficient written and verbal communication; able to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
- Track record developing high-performing, global, cross-functional teams and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
