Position Summary
The rehabilitation team at Kadima Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing (Cheswick), is seeking a motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who brings energy, compassion, and purpose to their work. Working under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the COTA provides high-quality therapy services that help residents regain independence and improve daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Occupational Therapist to carry out personalized treatment plans
- Help residents improve daily living skills and regain independence
- Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions with empathy and encouragement
- Track, document, and communicate patient progress clearly and accurately
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that values your input
- Educate residents and families on techniques that support long-term success
- Maintain a safe, organized, and positive therapy environment
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Active state license (or eligibility) in Pennsylvania
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting is a plus but not required
