Role Description
The Sales Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Myrtle Beach Area. This role is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, prospecting, and onboarding vacation rental owners, property managers, and local partners to the VRMB Owner Direct platform. Day-to-day activities include conducting outreach via calls, emails, and in-person meetings, presenting the platform’s value proposition, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract signing. The Sales Manager will maintain strong relationships with existing partners, track sales performance, and provide feedback on market trends to inform product and marketing strategies. This role also collaborates with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, high partner satisfaction, and consistent alignment with the company’s “Book Local. Stay Local.” mission.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in hospitality, tourism, or real estate.
- Strong skills in relationship-building, stakeholder management, and customer service to effectively partner with owners, managers, and local businesses.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic data analysis to track performance and optimize outreach efforts.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain platform benefits clearly and close deals.
- Knowledge of the Myrtle Beach tourism market or local business ecosystem is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently on-site, manage priorities, and travel within the Greater Myrtle Beach Area for meetings and events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
