Position Overview

JMC is seeking a motivated and experienced Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects across multiple locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys travel, and can successfully manage short-duration projects from start to finish.

Our projects are typically 8–10 weeks in duration and require strong field leadership, coordination, and communication skills to ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from project start through completion
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and daily site operations
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Maintain a safe job site and enforce all safety protocols
  • Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes
  • Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients, and internal teams
  • Track daily progress, document site activity, and report updates

Qualifications

  • 5\+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Proven ability to manage short-duration, fast-paced projects
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly (project-dependent)
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore experience preferred)
  • OSHA certification preferred
