Purchasing \& Planning Specialist

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
We are seeking a
Purchasing \& Planning Specialist
to support production operations through material procurement, inventory planning, and supplier management. This role works closely with engineering, accounting, and production to ensure materials are available on time and aligned with cost and scheduling goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing of materials and components to support production needs
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with engineering on Bills of Materials (BOMs) and material planning
- Build and manage supplier relationships, quotes, and negotiations
- Support production schedules through effective planning and cross-functional communication
- Identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- 3\+ years of purchasing, planning, or inventory experience in manufacturing
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Lean manufacturing or Kanban knowledge is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred
