Summary:
Join Vail Health Howard Head Sports Medicine team as a Part-Time Physical Therapist, where you will provide rehabilitative therapies to patients, focusing on assessment, treatment, and program development. This role supports the overall business needs of Vail Health and HHSM, while offering personalized care to diverse patient groups.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients using appropriate tests and measurements to determine physical therapy problems and treatment plans.
- Apply patient care protocols suited to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric needs.
- Develop physical therapy interventions based on evaluations and patient goals.
- Perform safe and effective physical therapy techniques and procedures.
- Ensure continuity of care through effective communication with healthcare professionals.
- Recommend and assist in acquiring necessary patient care equipment for discharge.
- Document patient progress and procedures within established time frames and manage billing daily.
- Participate in PT/PTA student training.
- Instruct patients and family members on home programs.
- Exemplify principles of Just Culture and Organizational Values.
- Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Required Skills:
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Colorado or valid PT Compact Privilege.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency in computer skills within 90 days of hire to fulfill job-specific requirements.
- Strong command of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour.
Hourly Pay:: $42\.94 USD - $59\.26 USD
