Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris Consulting: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

Join our team and contribute to the Susanoo Project, an ETL initiative where data is calculated based on trades, aggregated, and shared with other systems. You will be part of an international and dynamic environment, supporting the development and optimization of data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Your missions

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for trade data processing and aggregation
• Implement and optimize data workflows using Apache Spark
• Manage and query large datasets with Apache Hive
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions with other systems
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all stages of the ETL process
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure optimal performance
• Document technical solutions and maintain up-to-date records
• Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements

Your profile

• Experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role
• Experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing
• Experience with Apache Hive for data warehousing and querying
• Experience with ETL processes and tools
• Academic background: degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• English fluent. Portuguese is a plus.
• You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
