High-Growth Food CPG Brand \| Fully Remote

We are partnering confidentially with a high-growth, PE-backed food CPG brand to hire a Corporate Controller. This is a critical leadership role owning the accounting function end-to-end during a period of scale, complexity, and increased institutional rigor.

The ideal candidate brings deep CPG accounting experience, strong public accounting roots, and has operated in omni-channel, commerce-driven environments spanning retail, e-commerce, and DTC.

Role Overview

The Corporate Controller will lead all accounting operations, reporting, and controls while partnering closely with Finance, Operations, and executive leadership. This role will play a key part in building scalable processes, supporting growth initiatives, and preparing the business for future liquidity events.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting function including GL, close, reporting, and technical accounting
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and speed
• Oversee revenue recognition across omni-channel streams including retail, e-commerce, DTC, and marketplaces
• Manage inventory accounting, COGS, and gross margin analysis within a food CPG environment
• Build and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
• Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
• Lead, mentor, and scale the accounting team as the business grows
• Support strategic initiatives, system improvements, and process automation

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven Corporate Controller or senior accounting leadership experience within CPG
• Strong commerce and omni-channel exposure, retail, e-commerce, DTC
• Food CPG experience strongly preferred
• Public accounting background required
• Deep understanding of inventory, revenue recognition, and cost accounting
• Experience operating in high-growth, fast-paced environments
• CPA strongly preferred

Compensation \& Structure

• Base salary up to $245,000
• Annual bonus
• Meaningful equity participation
• Fully remote role within the U.S.
