Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Content Manager
to support the strategy, development, and execution of photo product templates, creative assets, and digital content. This role will play a key part in delivering fresh, relevant, and high-quality designs that enhance customer engagement and support business growth across multiple platforms.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of creative expertise, strong project management skills, analytical thinking, and experience managing digital content workflows. A background in graphic design, digital assets, or creative production is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy \& Execution
- Develop, source, and launch innovative, seasonal, and customer-focused photo product templates and designs.
- Create and maintain content strategies aligned with business goals and performance metrics.
- Manage content calendars to ensure timely product launches, updates, and refreshes.
Design \& Product Content Management
- Manage the full lifecycle of design projects, including creative briefs, design selection, asset delivery, enrichment, and launch readiness.
- Oversee photo product templates, imagery, descriptions, category graphics, and customer-facing purchase experiences.
- Work with designers, agencies, and internal teams to ensure high-quality creative deliverables.
- Manage relationships with creative partners and support projects from concept through launch.
File Management \& Digital Asset Workflows
- Manage various file types and understand file format requirements, specifications, and conversion timelines.
- Support digital asset workflows, including content creation, transfers, enrichment, and delivery.
- Ensure assets are optimized for use across multiple digital platforms.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product management, merchandising, marketing, catalog operations, software/IT, and other teams to align content initiatives with business objectives.
- Coordinate workflows between internal teams and external creative partners.
- Communicate project updates, timelines, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders.
Data-Driven Optimization
- Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and content metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend design updates, product enhancements, removals, and new content opportunities.
- Optimize the customer experience through data-informed content decisions.
Project \& Budget Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines, priorities, and quality standards.
- Track project budgets, estimates, expenditures, and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and status reporting.
Systems \& Tools
- Utilize Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems to manage content workflows.
- Support internal teams and agencies with system processes and asset delivery.
- Use project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira Kanban, or similar platforms.
Quality Assurance \& Reporting
- Review content and designs before and after launch to ensure alignment with brand standards and customer expectations.
- Ensure content meets quality, compliance, and business requirements.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and updates for leadership and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Business, or a related field.
- 5\+ years of experience in content management, marketing, product merchandising, creative production, or related fields.
- Experience developing and executing content strategies or marketing plans.
- Experience working with retail, e-commerce, or digital product environments preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing creative teams, designers, agencies, or external partners.
- Strong understanding of graphic and image file formats, specifications, and digital asset workflows.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting sales data and performance metrics.
- Experience sourcing assets through stock photo libraries or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with photo products, personalized products, or e-commerce retail.
- Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
- Experience with platforms such as Bynder or Akeneo.
- Familiarity with software workflows and user interfaces.
- Experience working with agile project management tools.
- Graphic design background or experience working closely with creative teams.
