Role Description

This is a part-time role for an eLearning Developer, located in Columbus, GA. The eLearning Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging online learning courses. Responsibilities include creating interactive e-learning modules using instructional design principles, managing content on learning management platforms, and ensuring compliance with e-learning standards such as SCORM. The role also involves collaborating with instructors and program coordinators to create training materials tailored to specific learning objectives and audiences.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in E-Learning Development and creating interactive e-learning content
  • Skills in Instructional Design and applying effective learning methodologies
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and course management tools (e.g., D2L)
  • Knowledge of SCORM standards and compliance for e-learning courses
  • Experience in Training \& Development, with a focus on creating effective and engaging learning materials
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with team members, instructors, and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with LXD tools (e.g., Articulate360, Vyond, etc.) is highly desirable
  • Experience in higher education or professional development environments is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or a related field is preferred
