The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals of all ages with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient services, developing treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare teams, and educating patients and families. The SLP evaluates patients promptly, adjusts therapy as needed, and documents progress in the electronic medical record. Requirements include an Idaho SLP license, BLS certification, and preferred membership in ASHA.
