Fabricator / Welder – TIG / MIG / FCAW-G

Blaque Metalworks is hiring a skilled Fabricator / Welder for upcoming work in our custom metal fabrication shop. We are looking for someone who can produce quality work, show up on time \& consistently, work well with a small team, and take pride in what they build.

This is a hands-on position for someone with solid fabrication experience who can read prints, perform accurate fit-up and layout, and weld cleanly on a range of materials.

What you’ll do

• Perform custom fabrication, fit-up, layout, cutting, assembly, and finish work
• TIG weld and wire-feed weld ferrous and non-ferrous materials
• Work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Read blueprints, drawings, and field/shop measurements
• Maintain quality standards and minimize rework
• Help keep the shop organized, safe, and productive

What we need

• Strong fabrication background in a custom metal shop
• Proficient in TIG, MIG/GMAW, and FCAW-G
• Experience welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Able to read prints and perform accurate fit-up and layout
• Able to pass company weld tests and qualify to required welding procedures relevant to our work
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Reliable, organized, and able to keep a small shop productive
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Professional attitude and ability to work well with others
• Able to take direction, communicate clearly, and work independently when needed

Preferred

• Experience with high-end custom fabrication
• Ability to work cleanly and consistently with minimal supervision
• Strong focus on weld quality, fit-up accuracy, and reducing rework

Pay: $25\.00 - $28\.00 per hour
