Filterbaby is a fast-growing beauty and wellness brand, creating high-performance water filters designed to elevate your skincare routine. Our faucet and shower filters remove impurities, ensuring cleaner water for healthier, glowing skin. Over the past years, we’ve generated multiple organic viral moments across Instagram and TikTok, proving the cultural and educational power of this category. We’re now looking to build repeatable systems that turn that momentum into a scalable social growth engine. We're seeking a Head of Social Growth \+ Content.

With nationwide retail distribution (Target, Nordstrom, Erewhon) and a rapidly scaling DTC presence, we are building a category at the intersection of skincare, science, and culture.

We’re looking for a highly strategic, internet-native creative creator to own and scale our social growth and content engine.

The Role

You will own Filterbaby's organic content presence on Instagram and TikTok, concepting, filming, directing, and growing. You have a natural instinct for what makes people stop, watch, and share. You've grown accounts before. You know what a viral video feels like in the first three seconds, and you know how to make one consistently.

You'll also conceptualize, cast, and direct UGC creators who extend our reach beyond your own content, building a broader content ecosystem that compounds over time.

What You'll Own

Content Creation

• Film and produce high-quality content yourself on a consistent cadence
• Be comfortable on camera in any environment: home, studio, street (street interviews are a core content pillar for us), retail, events
• Conduct street-style interviews and spontaneous content capture when the concept calls for it
• Create both scrappy, authentic content and more produced pieces depending on what the moment requires
• Work with in-house editors and designers to bring your vision to life

Concept \& Strategy

• Develop original content concepts, series, and formats rooted in culture, trend, and brand story
• Build repeatable viral frameworks, formats that can be executed consistently with fresh angles
• Stay ahead of platform trends and translate them into Filterbaby-native content
• Analyze performance data and use it to continuously sharpen creative direction
• Manage the content calendar and posting across both platforms

UGC \& Creator Direction

• Conceptualize, cast, and brief UGC creators to expand content volume and reach
• Direct creators on concept, format, and delivery
• Identify organic content that should be amplified to paid ads

Account Growth

• Own follower growth, engagement rate, shares, and saves as your north star metrics
• Build engagement loops that drive comments, shares, and community interaction
• Execute on high-leverage growth moments tied to product launches, retail placements, and cultural trends

Who You Are

• You love filming and being on camera
• You're outgoing and comfortable approaching strangers, hosting interviews, and putting yourself out there
• You've created content that has gone viral and you can tell us exactly why it worked
• You understand the difference between content that looks good and content that performs
• You're fluent in Instagram and TikTok, the algorithms, the formats, the culture
• You're a self-starter who can move from idea to execution without hand-holding
• You care about beauty, skincare, and wellness, this world genuinely excites you

Qualifications

• 3\+ years creating content professionally or with a proven high-performing personal presence
• Demonstrated track record of growing social accounts
• Experience directing or briefing UGC creators
• Comfortable both in front of and behind the camera
• Strong understanding of what drives shares, saves, and follows
• Beauty, skincare, or wellness experience strongly preferred
• Based in Los Angeles (required)

Location \& Schedule

Based in Los Angeles. The position begins remotely with regular travel required for shoots and creative sessions. Filterbaby is building its LA creative hub with plans to open a physical office later this year, this hire must be comfortable transitioning into a hybrid in-office structure once the space is open. Weekend shoots are part of this role when the content calls for it.

Compensation $80K to $130K based on experience.
