Family Physician- Greater Victoria, BC

Avalon Health Clinic is seeking Family Physicians to join our founding team as we prepare to open a new integrated primary care and multidisciplinary clinic in Greater Victoria.

This is an opportunity to build a longitudinal patient panel in a collaborative environment where physicians work alongside Nurse Practitioners, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counsellors, kinesiologists, and other allied health professionals, all under one roof.

What you'll do:

  • Provide comprehensive longitudinal primary care to an attached patient panel
  • Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions across the lifespan
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary clinical team
  • Refer seamlessly to in-house allied health and rehabilitation services
  • Help shape the systems, workflows, and culture of a brand-new clinic

Qualifications:

  • MD with registration (or eligibility) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
  • CCFP designation (or eligibility)
  • CMPA coverage
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
