Occupational Therapist (OT)

Role Overview

Responsible for delivering safe and effective Occupational Therapy services by conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing patient education to meet individual goals.

Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members is essential to promote teamwork and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions tailored to patient needs
• Document clinical assessments and progress clearly
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Promote patient independence and functional improvement

Qualifications \& Skills

• Current unencumbered Oregon Occupational Therapist license
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• Knowledge of diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and cognitive conditions
• Strong communication, counseling, and business writing skills
• Ability to work well in team environments
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Physical Demands

Ability to perform various physical activities including lifting, reaching, walking, climbing, and manual dexterity, often in dynamic settings.
