Business Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Owner to define, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Engage with ophthalmologists, optometrists, clinical stakeholders, and technical teams to gather functional and non-functional requirements
• Translate high-level product goals into detailed functional specifications and process flows
• Assist in prioritizing features and ensuring alignment with overall product roadmap
• Coordinate and conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, and backlog grooming sessions
• Support the development team during implementation with clarifications, validations, and defect triage
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to validate user experience needs
• Contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure traceability of requirements from definition through development, testing, and release
• Help the QA team define test cases and validate feature completion

Required Qualifications \& Experience:

• 5\+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software product development
• Strong experience in gathering and analyzing requirements for complex, multisystem Environments
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams; familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
• Proven ability to write clear user stories, use cases, and workflows
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise between technical and nontechnical audiences
• Strong stakeholder management skills and attention to detail

Good To Have:

• Exposure to healthcare, medical devices, or ophthalmology domain
• Understanding of DICOM, HL7, or FHIR standards
• Familiarity with ZEISS Ophthalmic Devices and Digital Solution or similar platforms
• Experience working with image-based diagnostic tools and reporting workflows
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Healthcare IT, Biomedical Informatics, or related field
