Responsibilities

• Lead with Excellence: Collaborate with the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing to maintain high-quality care standards.
• Daily Oversight: Conduct rounds to ensure nursing protocols and standards are met or exceeded.
• Resident Care: Deliver compassionate, person-centered care while addressing resident concerns efficiently.
• Compliance \& Surveys: Participate in facility surveys and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Education \& Training: Conduct in-service trainings to keep staff updated on best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Incident Reporting: Investigate and document incidents, ensuring proper follow-up and resolution.
• Care Planning: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review individualized care plans.
• Emergency Response: Act promptly in emergency situations, ensuring safety for residents and staff.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in initiatives to continuously improve care quality and resident experience.

Qualifications

• Valid RN License in the state of Florida
• Experience in nursing homes or long-term care preferred
• Commitment to professionalism, excellence, and compassionate care
