Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely acquisition of raw materials and packaging components to support production needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and contract conditions, driving cost savings initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and finance, to align procurement activities with demand forecasts and operational requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, maintaining backup suppliers and sourcing strategies to ensure continuity.
  • Utilize ERP systems to manage purchasing records and supplier documentation effectively.
  • Support new product launches by sourcing innovative materials and establishing new supplier partnerships as needed.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–8\+ years of procurement, purchasing, or sourcing experience, with a strong track record in supplier negotiations.
  • Proficiency in purchase order management and supplier coordination, with experience in ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), food \& beverage, manufacturing, or retail sectors.
  • Familiarity with sourcing raw materials and packaging components.
