• Salary range: Level B, $117,100 - $138,515

per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

Experience

To join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:

Qualifications

• A PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent accreditation and standing appropriate to a Level B Research academic appointment.

Essential Selection Criteria

• Significant experience in undertaking basic research and/or applied research and development (R\&D).
• Established track record in delivering solutions to real-world problems through software development, mathematical formulation, experimentation and/or statistical analysis.
• Significant experience in the management of research and/or applied R\&D projects and programs.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate effectively with external partners on shared initiatives and projects.
• Evidence of professional contributions, including activities such as organising workshops, conferences, symposia or similar events.
• Demonstrated commitment to the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and the ability to positively uphold associated behavioural expectations.

Desirable

Experience supervising junior researchers and/or Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students to achieve research outcomes, including publications and theses.
