We're working with one of the largest Bitcoin Data Mining companies in the world:

Seeking a hands-on Hybrid Cloud DevOps Engineer to help evolve the infrastructure system

steam toward a more software-driven, automation-first operating model across both cloud and on-prem environments. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong DevOps, platform engineering, or software engineering background who is comfortable working in AWS while also partnering closely with teams that operate Linux systems, data center infrastructure, virtualization, bare-metal provisioning, monitoring, networking, and multi-site on-prem environments.

Why This Role:

The infrastructure you’d be working on doesn’t have a textbook. They runs 33 bitcoin mining sites, each with its own on-prem Kubernetes cluster connecting to AWS via VPN. 300,000\+ miners deployed. This is for a problem server with a strong sense of urgency and desire full ownership.

What You’ll

• Own, Design, build, and operate hybrid cloud \+ bare metal infrastructure across a large-scale distributed compute environment.
• Own Kubernetes cluster management end-to-end — not EKS with managed node groups, but self-managed clusters where you make the real decisions.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) across multi-site deployments.
• Drive CI/CD pipeline maturity, observability, and reliability across the platform
• Work directly with senior leadership — this role has high visibility and real influence.
• Be one of the people who figures out what comes next, not one of the people who maintains what already exists.

What We’re Looking For:

• 4\+ years of hands-on DevOps / platform / SRE experience with real ownership
• Deep Kubernetes knowledge — you’ve debugged cluster-level issues, not just deployed Helm charts.
• Terraform and AWS/EKS fluency
• A CS or engineering degree — we care about first-principles thinking, not just tooling familiarity
