Role Description

The Mobile Application Developer will design, build, and maintain mobile applications that support PPLIED’s hiring platform and user experience. This full-time remote role includes developing new features, improving performance, and ensuring high-quality, reliable app functionality across mobile devices. The developer will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to implement scalable solutions, integrate APIs, and optimize user interfaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and participating in agile planning and release cycles. The role also involves monitoring application metrics, addressing bugs, and contributing to continuous improvement of the mobile technology stack.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Mobile Application Development and experience working with Mobile Applications across modern platforms.
• Candidates should possess solid Application Development skills, including designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable client-side features.
• Candidates should possess Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills and be able to apply OOP principles to build maintainable and reusable code.
• Candidates should possess experience in iOS Development, including familiarity with Swift/Objective-C, Xcode, and Apple’s design and deployment guidelines.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices, performance optimization, and testing frameworks.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and manage time and priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Android development, cross-platform frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter), or cloud-based services is a plus.
