Job Summary
Hennessey Performance is seeking a Part-Time ERP Implementation Lead to guide and execute a full-cycle ERP implementation and/or migration effort involving Oracle ERP and NetSuite, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing operations. This role will partner cross-functionally with executive leadership, plant operations, IT, finance, and end users to translate real-world workflows into scalable ERP designs, lead data migration readiness, drive testing/UAT, and ensure successful user adoption and go-live execution.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Program Leadership (End-to-End)
- Lead full-cycle ERP implementation projects (discovery → design → build/config → test → go-live → stabilization)
- Own integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and status reporting for leadership
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (executives, plant leadership, IT, finance, end users)
Manufacturing Process \& System Design
- Translate manufacturing workflows into ERP system design, including:
- BOMs, routings, work orders, MRP, production planning, procurement, inventory control, quality
- Configure or guide configuration of ERP modules relevant to:
- Manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, inventory, finance, order management
Migration, Integration \& Data Readiness
- Lead software migration efforts including:
- Data mapping, cleansing, validation, and legacy-system cutover planning
- Support NetSuite migration/integration design, workflows, and operational readiness
Testing, UAT \& Go-Live Readiness
- Build testing strategy and artifacts (test scripts, UAT plans, issue logs)
- Lead system testing, UAT, issue triage/resolution, and go-live readiness planning
- Drive stabilization and optimization post go-live
Change Management \& Adoption
- Create and maintain:
- SOPs, process documentation, training materials, and role-based job aids
- Partner with leaders to drive user adoption in operational/manufacturing environments
Reporting \& Visibility
- Design or support reporting and analytics inside the ERP:
- Dashboards, KPIs, manufacturing performance visibility
- Ensure reporting aligns with operational and leadership decision-making needs
Finance \& Costing Understanding
- Apply working knowledge of:
- Cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial impacts of manufacturing transactions
Required Skills \& Experience
- Experience leading Oracle ERP implementations, ideally in manufacturing environments
- Strong NetSuite knowledge supporting migration, integration, and workflows
- Proven success delivering full-cycle ERP implementations
- Hands-on experience with data migration (mapping, cleansing, validation, cutover)
- Strong project management capabilities (scope, schedule, risks, stakeholder alignment)
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes:
- BOMs, routings, work orders, MRP, production planning, procurement, inventory, quality
- Ability to configure or guide configuration of ERP modules across:
- Manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, inventory, finance, order management
- Experience producing SOPs, documentation, training materials, and testing scripts
- Strong communication skills across executives, plant leadership, IT, finance, and end users
- Post go-live support experience: optimization, continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or formal training in Oracle ERP, NetSuite, PMP, or similar PM methodology
- Experience in manufacturing performance reporting and KPI design inside ERP tools
What Success Looks Like (first 60–90 days)
- Establishes clear project roadmap, scope clarity, and milestone cadence
- Validates current-state workflows and maps them to optimized ERP future-state
- Produces migration readiness plan with clean data rules and validation approach
- Launches testing/UAT plan and improves stakeholder readiness and adoption
- Creates practical SOPs and training assets aligned to shop-floor reality
