Role Description

The Fertility Doctor will provide full-time, on-site care at AlReem Medical Center in Muscat, focusing on the evaluation and treatment of patients with fertility and reproductive health concerns. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, taking detailed medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans, including assisted reproductive technologies such as IVF and ICSI. The role involves performing relevant procedures, monitoring treatment progress, coordinating care with other specialists, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Fertility Doctor will also provide counseling and education to patients and partners, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and recognized specialization in Obstetrics \& Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology, or Fertility Medicine.
• Proven clinical experience in fertility and IVF, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and performance or supervision of assisted reproductive procedures.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and evidence-based management of reproductive and gynecologic conditions.
• Ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and empathetically, with strong counseling and patient education skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and maintaining high standards of documentation and confidentiality.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with nursing, laboratory, and other medical staff.
• Relevant board certification, professional licensure eligible for practice in Oman, and ongoing engagement in continuing medical education.
• Previous experience in a specialized fertility or IVF center and familiarity with quality improvement initiatives are highly beneficial.
