Project Coordinator – Manufacturing / Automation Environment
Position Summary - This role will assist the Project Manager with growth potential into a PM role.
The Project Coordinator supports the successful execution of projects by coordinating schedules, tracking tasks, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This role works closely with project managers, engineering, and production teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and with clear communication across all stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project planning and execution by maintaining
detailed project schedules and timelines
- Track and follow up on
project tasks, deliverables, and action items
- Coordinate internal resources across engineering, production, and operations teams
- Maintain and organize
project documentation
, including schedules, reports, meeting notes, and change logs
- Assist with
project administration
, including data entry, status updates, and reporting
- Facilitate clear and timely
communication between internal teams and external stakeholders
- Prepare and distribute
project status reports
and meeting summaries
- Help identify scheduling conflicts, risks, and delays, and escalate as needed
- Ensure project records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
Qualifications
- 2\+ years of experience in a
Project Coordinator or similar role
- Proven experience supporting
project schedules, task tracking, and documentation
- Prior experience working in a
manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with project management tools is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting projects in
automation, machinery, or industrial systems
- Familiarity with
ERP systems or production workflows
- Exposure to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or similar)
