Job Description
We are seeking a Finance analyst who has experience of analysing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to drive strategic decision-making. Additionally, the role includes problem-solving for process automation and managing invoicing credits to enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business teams to understand financial priorities, challenges, and data landscape.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and validation to support business decisions and invoicing.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and forecasting.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Support the accounting process and manage critical financial activities across various contracts.
- Manage invoicing credits and validate with final invoicing.
- Meet invoicing timelines effectively while performing routine tasks and follow-ups.
- Utilize ERP applications/modules and legacy systems for financial data management.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reconciliation.
- Participate in Lean/Kaizen events to improve financial processes.
- Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation related to finance.
- Guide and support new team members to ensure their successful integration and development within the team
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/business/finance from an accredited institution.
- Significant experience in Aerospace/Manufacturing industry.
- Significant experience in roles involving financial accounting and reconciliation.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and able to be self-directed and work independently to meet and exceed goals
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Strong hands-on industry experience on Spotfire/Alteryx
- Experience in core data analytics.
- Strong Business Acumen, Analytical capability, and data modelling
- Demonstrated capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma / Process Improvement activities.
