SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Financial Analyst will provide financial \& analytical support to the plant operations team. The Financial Analyst will assist in budget and forecasting processes, financial reporting, monthly financial performance analysis, capital expenditure project evaluation and control.
JOB DUTIES \& ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Analyzes business and financial data.
- Provides support in creating financial models for analytics to support organizational decision making.
- Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
- Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
- Evaluates financial measures.
- Prepares financial reports and budgets.
- Prepares financial forecasts and statements to help understand the financial state of the business.
- Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
- Monitor inventory for accurate records
- Evaluate ERP data integrity
- Problem solving related to ERP subledger records
JOB DUTIES \& ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field
- Prefer two (2) years of experience performing reporting, analysis, and financial modeling in a large and complex organization
- Demonstrated ability to create and leverage analytic, forecasting, and modeling tools
- Ability to create and leverage financial model projections and scenarios
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and with non-financial functional leaders
- Proficient with IQMS or similar ERP systems
