Job Description
Seeking a highly analytical Finance Analyst to join a collaborative corporate finance team that plays a key role in supporting executive leadership and strategic business initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, building financial models, and partnering with leaders across multiple functions to influence decision-making.
This role extends well beyond traditional budgeting and reporting. You'll leverage financial analysis, forecasting, and scenario modeling to help leadership evaluate opportunities, assess business performance, and support long-term strategic planning. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, enjoys working with large data sets, and is motivated by finding actionable insights that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning \& Analysis
- Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning activities.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models used to evaluate business performance and future growth initiatives.
- Analyze financial results and communicate key drivers of variances, risks, and opportunities to business leaders.
- Partner with operational and functional teams to validate assumptions and improve forecast accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve the efficiency of financial planning activities.
Strategic Analysis
- Build scenario analyses and business case models to support strategic initiatives, capital investments, and operational decisions.
- Prepare executive-level presentations that summarize financial performance, emerging trends, and key business insights.
- Research market conditions, industry trends, and economic factors that may impact business performance.
- Translate complex financial information into meaningful recommendations for senior leadership.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Approximately 2-4 years of experience in corporate finance, FP\&A, financial analysis, investment banking, consulting, public accounting, or another analytical finance environment.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and how they interact to support business decision-making.
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred
- CPA, CMA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
- Experience with financial planning software, ERP systems, business intelligence tools, or data visualization platforms.
- Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar analytical tools is beneficial.
