The Finance Analyst supports TYC America’s financial operations through accurate reporting, analysis, and compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures timely financial insights to drive OEM business decisions and operational efficiency

DESCRIPTION

Our Finance Analyst is responsible for the following activities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
  • Assist with periodic budget and forecast responsibilities
  • Perform variance analysis on manufacturing costs, inventory, payroll, and overhead; investigate discrepancies and recommend improvements
  • Support accounts payable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
  • Assist with month-end close, accruals, journal entries, and audit preparation
  • Track key metrics like standard vs. actual costs, KPIs, and supply chain expenses
  • Support supply chain, purchasing, and operations with meaningful financial analysis and cost savings opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS, internal controls, and regulatory reporting
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and financial models for management decision-making
  • Manage fixed assets tagging and accounting

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S):

Experience

  • 5\+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably in manufacturing or automotive/supply chain
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic manufacturing environment

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related work experience
